New Assembly Line for Cylindrical Fuse Disconnector PCF

New Assembly Line for Cylindrical Fuse Disconnector PCF

New Assembly Line for Cylindrical Fuse Disconnector PCF

In collaboration with Processi d.o.o., we recently developed a new assembly line specifically designed for the PCF cylindrical fuse switch. This new line offers faster, more precise, and repeatable assembly while providing enhanced control over the entire production process. The decision to implement this line arose from the need to address price pressures, as we were not meeting our expected profit margins on Siemens products. To achieve a more efficient and cost-effective solution, we worked closely with Processi d.o.o. and its subcontractors, Cube engineering d.o.o. and MDA avtomatizacija d.o.o.

Future-Proofing ETI Elektroelement Through Simulation: The Power of Surrogate Models

In today’s fast-paced world, innovation in production processes is key to staying competitive, especially in industries like electrical equipment manufacturing. ETI Elektroelement d.o.o., a leading provider of electrical installations and power electronics, has made significant strides in embracing advanced simulation technologies to streamline their design processes. By integrating surrogate models into their COMSOL Multiphysics simulations, ETI has opened new doors for faster iterations and optimization of their residual current devices (RCDs). This bold move exemplifies how production innovation can lead to significant improvements in product quality, development speed, and cost efficiency.

Automation at ETI Proplast : Production Line Development

Automation in manufacturing companies is crucial for producing high-quality products, and we introduce it into processes where operations are repetitive. This ensures faster and more precise production, relieving workers from repetitive movements, harsh working environments, heavy lifting, or performing intricate quality checks. A significant aspect of automation is the traceability throughout the entire process, allowing for real-time product monitoring, and recording of technological parameters.

New robotic cell for current testing and laser marking of KZS-2M/4M RCBOs

At ETI, we continue with the automation of production processes. The new robotic cell for current testing and laser marking of KZS-2M/4M RCBOs is one of the first automatic assembly / testing robotic cells in our switchgear department. With its introduction, we have successfully replaced manual retesting, laser marking of RCBOs, assembly of the snapping unit, sealing of the adjustment screw, and insertion and testing of the test button. With the new device, only the code of the product is entered, and in accordance with the previously created program and laser marking design, the device will perform the necessary operations to produce the final form of the RCBO.

Revolutionizing Product Development with 3D Statistical Tolerance Analysis

In the fast-paced landscape of product development, advanced numerical simulation tools are game-changers. Among them, specialized tolerance analysis tools stand out, offering precise insights into variations in final products. By simulating potential deviation scenarios early in the design phase, these tools mitigate risks, reduce errors, and cut down on costly modifications during later project stages.

LEARNING CENTER FOR ELECTROPNEUMATICS

Advanced technologies and new findings in the field of automation require employees to constantly acquire and update their knowledge and competencies. Knowledge of the electric pneumatics, which combines electrical and pneumatic systems for process automation and control, is  essential for maintaining automated lines, identifying and eliminating defects. There are fewer and fewer simple, manual works, where it is enough for workers to have only good manual skills and more and more tasks that require more demanding technical skills.

Circular Process of Green Production of Technical Ceramics

Innovation represents the production process of ceramic masses, which aligns with the principles of a sustainable circular economy. This process involves reusing the raw, non-sintered waste mass, created as a by-product of technological processing, for as long as possible. This continues until the ceramic mass attains the appropriate characteristics that allow technological processing into products meeting the high demands of the customer.

New Drilling and Machining Center for NH Fuse Bodies

As industry pioneers, we lead NH fuse manufacturing for battery storage, photovoltaic systems, and railway applications. Our commitment to quality is evident in the use of superior materials and innovative construction. We manufacture pressed and extruded bodies for low voltage fuses that meet all customers’ technical requirements. Any specific technical demand could be integrated at the body as well. Components are manufactured in accordance with highly demanding process requests that guarantee the best quality to the customer.

New automatic production line for NV1 and NV2C fuse links

The new NV line is able to produce size 1 and 2C fuse links. This will reduce the cost price of the product and increase production capacity. An additional objective was to standardise production at ETI Polam and switch to KOMBI fuse link production only. All this will allow us to further grow our market share and profitability of the NV range.
